"It surpassed my expectations. The speaker asked us what we wanted to learn and made sure to cover those topics in addition to the seminar’s curriculum. What made this really enjoyable for me was the speaker’s sense of humor. He made the whole experience more memorable by taking dry material and making it exciting and fun. Very personable and friendly. I enjoyed the whole seminar."

Decisions shape our lives. The decision to commit to life-long learning and self-improvement led to a career as a professional musician (drummer from 1973 to 1999) and the privilege of performing with Timothy B. Schmit (Eagles), Carlene Carter, Larry Stewart (Restless Heart), Steve Wariner, and the Gatlin Brothers. David also appeared with (opened for) George Strait, Alan Jackson, Alabama, Merle Haggard, Dwight Yokum, Lee Greenwood, and Marshall Tucker to name a few.

After living the stereotypical musician's life in the late 1970's (questionable recreational activities), in 1980 David decided to grow up and become a serious professional musician and change his ways. That decision led to many synchronistic happenings.

David began studying success and personal growth in 1980 after he listened to his first "success consciousness" tape entitled The Psychology Of Winning, by Dennis Waitley. Shortly thereafter, one of his drum students gave him a similar book on success by Napoleon Hill. He recalls thinking, "I could see myself being a professional speaker some day." From that point on, he committed to reading positive, motivational, "success" material every day and continues to do so to this day.

David says, "The difference between an amateur and a professional is that an amateur plays great when they feel great, a professional plays great no matter how they feel."

Intensely interested in any psychological technology that would give him an "edge" and help him be more consistently "on" as a drummer, he was led to Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP-cutting edge communication, psychological and belief change technology) in 1986. He became a Certified NLP Practitioner in 1990 to further his mental and emotional mastery training. He also studied Super Learning, Accelerated Learning techniques, Silva Mind Control, self-hypnosis, and sleep learning.

David has been practicing meditation since 1980. Becoming a black belt in karate in 2005 has contributed to his training physically, mentally, and spiritually. He incorporates the best of all that he has learned into his workshops: The Psychology of Success Workshop, The Ultimate Stress Management Workshop, The Ultimate Time Management Workshop, and The Happiness Workshop.

David's experience from presenting over six hundred full day seminars to thousands of attendees in 48 of the 50 states and throughout Canada has helped him breakdown complex concepts into easily understood language that anyone can understand. His clients ask him back and their testimonials speak for themselves.

David has conducted seminars for Johns Hopkins University, the U.S. Army, Roche Pharmaceuticals, the training staff of ITT Technical Institute, and countless others. He has been featured on Channel 4 News at Noon (Nashville, Tennessee) and Tennessee Mornings on Fox 17 in Nashville. Click here for a complete and constantly updated client list.
