You are welcome to reprint any article at no charge, provided that you clearly indicate that I am the author and provide www.DavidHumes.com as the source.

What kinds of organizations do you work with?

I work with all types of businesses and associations. I have spoken for local and national associations, colleges, high schools, hospitals, construction companies, police departments, fire departments, postal employees, most "silicon valley" type businesses, the military, etc.

Do you offer consulting services?

No, my practice is limited to speaking. If you are looking for consulting, project management or train-the-trainer programs, I can provide you with the names of experts who specialize in those services.

What topics do you speak about?

The Psychology of Success Workshop
The Ultimate Stress Management Workshop
The Ultimate Time Management Workshop (view DEMO VIDEO)
The Happiness Workshop

How long are your presentations?

My programs can easily be customized to meet your needs. From a one hour breakout presentation or keynote to a multi-day workshop. All programs on any of the topics can be customized to meet your needs.

What dates do you have currently booked?

Call (615) 399-9164 or email David@DavidHumes.com to hold or confirm a date.

Why should we choose you to speak for our group?

I am a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and Past-President of NSA Tennessee, which money can't buy (you have to qualify). I have a long track record of delivering outstanding presentations that provide solid content in an interesting and memorable way. I've presented over six hundred full day seminars to thousands of attendees in 48 of the 50 states and throughout Canada. Click here to see what clients/attendees think about my presentations.

Do you have a videotape I can preview?

I have video clips you can view now online. Or, I can help to arrange for you to attend a live presentation.

How much do you charge?

Call (615) 399-9164 to discuss fees.

Is there a charge for travel time to and from the meeting?

There is no charge for my travel time.

How are expenses handled?

Everything is included in the fee. There is no additional charge for airfare, mileage, tolls, car rental, meals, etc.

Is there a way for me to save on your fee?

The cost per program is lower when you engage me to present more than one program on the same day. You might consider requesting sponsorship as a way of reducing expenses for your meeting.

Can you provide references?

Yes, upon request. Please click here for client and participant program evaluations.

Do you provide learning materials or handouts?

Yes, a learning guide is prepared to best meet the needs of your group. The guide varies from two to thirty two pages in length, depending on the length of the program and the type of event. You will receive a master copy of the guide for duplication. There is no charge for the master.

Can we video tape or audio tape your presentation?

Video taping and/or audio taping is permissible, provided that a master copy is sent to me within two weeks of the presentation in the same format or better quality than the original. Both video taping and audio taping must be for internal use only, and not sold.

What is the best way to contact you?

By telephone. When I am traveling, voice mail is checked more frequently than email. My telephone number is 615-399-9164. My email address is David@DavidHumes.com.

Can you provide a photo for our brochure?

Yes, a photograph can be mailed to you, or you can download a photograph here.

What are your AV and set-up requirements?

Projector table with AC power (unless an LCD projector will be provided).

Screen (size depends on audience size and seating choices, i.e., theatre, classroom, etc.):

6' wide for small audiences (10 or less)
8' wide for audiences of 11-60 so all can see from the back of the room
10' wide for audiences of 61-199
12' wide or larger for audiences above 200

Please note: Please make sure the room you reserve has a tall enough ceiling so that the people in the back of the room can easily see the screen without having to look over or through people's heads.

Sound system for audience sizes over 30: internal house or external PA system adequate for room/audience size with low impedance mic input jack for my wireless lapel mic.
A six to eight foot skirted table at the front of the room, stage right. I will speak from the table rather than a lectern.
A medium sized box (or 2 milk crates placed side by side) placed on the above mentioned table with a table cloth covering it. This is where my laptop and mouse pad will be placed.
A live power cord brought to the side of the above mentioned table.
I bring my own laptop computer, projector, and lapel mic with a low impedance mic cord.

Suggested room set-up:

Theatre style can put more people in a room, however, participants are most comfortable when they are seated at tables. Classroom style is an excellent choice for this type of training.

Can you send a biography and introduction?

Yes. I will email an introduction printed in large font for easy reading. You will receive this in advance of the event and I will bring an additional copy with me to the event.

What is the next step to have you speak for our organization?

Call (615) 399-9164 or email David@DavidHumes.com to hold or confirm a date.

To finalize an agreement, two things are needed:
1. A signed program agreement
2. A 50% deposit to confirm and hold the date.

How do I get more information about your programs?
